it so here's the thing I have always

been super self-conscious about my voice

was starting to command right things

thickening your vocal cords typically

producing at a young age the deeper and

thicker your voice is going to become

for some young dudes right the change

right so I was a late bloomer growing up

all my boys were like super pumped and

you're going through puberty the more

testosterone that you've got going

through your body the thicker and longer

your vocal cords are going to become and

the deeper your voice will be but what

can you do about it now and the answer

is unfortunately not much that is the

reality alright there are some things

that I've seen online where it teaches

you to like really like like strain your

voice and do different things and

honestly that can end up damaging your

vocal cords I know because I used to try

and do it trying to force a deep voice

actually does some damage to your vocal

cords you shouldn't do that but that

being said there are some things that

you can do in order to make the voice

you have sound a little bit lower

alright the first thing is slow down

slow down

not so fast alright something that I

noticed for me is that when I start

speaking really fast right you notice

what happens my voice the octave goes up

but when I bring it down and talk in a

more reasonable pace my voice is a

little bit deep earner the volume down

alright notice when I talk and I'm

actually talking a little bit softer and

I'm not doing my normal yelling thing

right when you yell your octaves

actually go up and so a good general

rule if you are wanting to have a deeper

more manly voice slow down the speed at

which you're speaking and take the

volume down a notch this is going to be

the best way

that you are going to maximize the

manliness of your normal speaking voice

but at the end of the day what I want

you to do is embrace the fact that your

voice might be a little higher embrace

your incredible voice regardless of if

it's a little higher or a little bit

lower this is something that I've had to

come and and realize and ultimately do

for me but that being said there are

some things that I'd like to go over now

to help you be a better speaker because

regardless of the voice and the

manliness of it there are some things

that we can do to improve the quality of

our speech the first him to be a better

speaker is to learn to a pro enunciate

pronunciation is saying the words

properly the second step is to enunciate

enunciate is saying the word clearly

alright so you can pronounce it right

but if you're not actually enunciate it

people are going to have a harder time

understanding what you're saying

pronunciation and enunciation those two

have them together in order for you to

that people are like why are you always
